Did you know that the Learning and Teaching Centre runs iLearn training specifically for Tutors? It covers all of the general functions a tutor would be required to undertake in an iLearn unit, from moderating discussion forums to entering marks in the gradebook. Since February, we have run six of these workshops plus an online version of the workshop, which is self paced.

Join Dr Trudy Amber from the Faculty of Arts as she takes you through this 5 Module continuous mode program. There are 9 face-to-face teaching sessions with on-going support and reflection between each module, facilitated through iLearn.
This program commences on Wednesday 12 March through to Wednesday 28 May with 9 x 2 hour sessions, 12 noon to 2pm in W6A 107.

By enabling users to overlay multimedia information on the world around us, Augmented Reality has immense potential to transform tertiary education. This presentation outlines what Augmented Reality is, how it works, applications available to educators, and how it might be infused into the curriculum. The presentation will also provide an overview of the Augmented Reality knowledge base that has been developed as part of this project, which includes examples, resources and guides.
