Sustainability at Macquarie is about creating a balance in all our activities between the important principles of inclusion, social justice and well-being, diversity, environmental protection and economic well-being. So, how have we been going?
Our Vice Chancellor and the Sustainability team are seeking to capture the thoughts of as many staff as possible about sustainability across the university.
Please provide your feedback by completing the Sustainability Culture survey, which closes on 8 April. You can also choose to enter the draw for a Coles Myer gift voucher.
Invitation from Professor S. Bruce Dowton
Over the past few years, a lot of good work has been done to get sustainability interwoven into the fabric of the University. Much progress has been made and I feel proud to lead an organisation that is one of the great sustainable institutions of modern society.
It is now time to seek your thoughts and opinions on how successful we have been in addressing the issue of holistic sustainability. I invite all staff to take part in a brief survey that will provide a baseline for our current state of play with regards to sustainability.
Please be open and honest in your responses, as they will provide the impetus for where we concentrate our efforts moving forward.
All questions regarding the survey should be directed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
I thank you in advance for your participation.
Professor S. Bruce Dowton
Vice Chancellor, Macquarie University
