Learning and Teaching Week 2015

The launch of the Learning and Teaching Strategy (White Paper) will be one of dozens of discussion topics confirmed for Learning and Teaching Week 2015 to be held between 14-17 September.

The White Paper will be the blueprint on how Macquarie University can further connect with industry leaders and ensure our graduates access quality employment opportunities.

Rob Manson’s presentation on Wearable Technologies is sure to draw a big response for both staff and student eager to discover what the latest technology trend is.

The popular 3-Minute Thesis competition is also expected to draw interest as students battle it out to see who will win this and go on to represent Macquarie University at the Trans-Tasman 3MT Competition being held at the University of Queensland on Friday 2 October 2015.

With this year’s Learning and Teaching Week 2015 program now finalised, staff and students can check out the full list of discussion topics, panel and interactive sessions.

Learning and Teaching Week 2015 is an opportunity for staff and students to contribute to a discussion about the ways in which we, along with alumni, industry, community partners and the broader society, connect with resources, research and expertise.

There will be a number of keynote speakers of interest including Pia Waugh, the Big History MOOC panel discussion led by Professor David Christian and the Poster Session to wrap up this year’s program.

Make sure you block out your calendar between 14-17 September to come along and be part of this year’s Learning and Teaching Week 2015.
