How to find copyright free images through Google

Have you ever needed to find copyright free images to jazz up your Powerpoint presentation? Or perhaps to add a touch of spice to your next viral Teche post?

Learn how to do this using our trusty ol’ pal Google, in under two minutes, through this short video produced by the Educational Media Portfolio.

You may be wondering what the above feature image is all about – I followed the video instructions in real-time, and voila, within seconds I’ve found the touch of spice I needed for my Teche post!

And of course, I’ll have to properly attribute my found image:

‘Indian Spices by Joe mon bkk available at http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Indian_Spices.jpg under a Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 4.0 International license. Full terms at https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0/deed.en.

For more information on how to correctly attribute images as per above, visit the Creative Commons Australia fact sheet ‘How to attribute Creative Commons licensed materials‘.

How useful did you find this process? Feel free to share any other methods and sources for finding copyright-free images that you find helpful with the Teche community in the comments below!
