Academic Promotions – February 2015 round

promotionThe due date for the first round of applications for Academic Promotion (all levels) in 2015 is Friday 30 January 2015.

To submit an application for promotion, you will need to:

  • email your completed application (Application Cover Sheet & Checklist, Case for Promotion, CV Template and Discipline Report) to: by 5pm EST on Friday 30 January 2015;

  •  deliver your Sources of Evidence folder (hard copy) to: Building C5C, Level 4 Reception (entry is via stairs/lift on the western end of the building) by Friday 30 January 2015; and

Academic Promotion interview dates will be published on the Promotions webpage shortly after the due date.

Academic Promotions – Applying made easy – Research Impact Data: To assist you with your academic promotion application, our University Librarians are offering an information session on research impact data, before each round of promotions.

These sessions will show you how to effectively use and gather data from:

  • Scopus,
  • Thomson Reuters “Web of Science” and
  • Google Scholar

The sessions will also look at alternative methods of collecting research impact data.
