Tech Talk – iTeach latest development preview and feedback

Preview and give feedback on the latest development work in iTeach: Program Learning Outcomes and Tutorial group sync
iTeach is Macquarie’s online teaching administration system for managing iLearn spaces and unit guides. New development work is underway to include programs in iTeach and to allow mapping of program learning outcomes to unit learning outcomes and assessment. Three adventurous departments have begun preliminary testing and providing feedback on how this should work.
This new piece of iTeach aims to support the program-based approach to curriculum design emphasised in the Learning and Teaching Strategic Framework by providing better information for those involved in the program design process. Also being trialled is our much anticipated new function to allow tutorial groups to automatically update in iLearn, meaning no manual tutorial group creation! Come along to see the development work and hear about the pilots so far. More importantly we’d like to gather your feedback to guide the future of these valuable tools.
