eStudent, eApplications, eAcademic and AMIS will be unavailable on Saturday 5 November from 8am to 8pm to perform routine maintenance to Macquarie University’s Academic Management Information System (AMIS).

The latest Academic Management Information System (AMIS) software version launches today, including new branding look and feel across AMIS, eStudent, eAcademic and eApplication.
This upgrade sees the Student System upgraded with new hardware and enables the program team to implement a range of improvements and new functionality to our important student management system. This work forms part of Macquarie’s broader commitment to improving online student services.
Resources are available via the Self Help and Training Guides on the AMIS website (http://www.ams.mq.edu.au/amis.htm). Group training sessions have been and are being run with business areas that are most impacted by the change. Further training and information sessions will be progressively rolled out.

Student System Upgrade Team
A lot has happened on the project in the last month as we head towards the upgrade of the Student System (AMIS), eAcademic and eStudent in Quarter 2.
Initial testing is underway and the focus for this stage is to test functionality of the new version, with no impact on staff or students.

Online functionality through the web will be retained, however, staff and students will see a fresh look and feel incorporating the University’s new brand.
