Michael Grant has recently moved into the ground floor of E7A part-time as the LTC’s Educational Designer for the Faculty of Science and Engineering. But he’s no stranger to the Faculty…
After graduating with Bachelor of Science degree from the Biology department, Michael has spent a number of years working with the Learning and Teaching Centre. During this time he has held a variety of roles, for the past three years that of Educational Developer with a focus on assisting teaching staff in creating accessible learning materials. Michael says, “I’m very excited to be able to put this experience to use now in working with academic staff from the Faculty of Science and Engineering.”
Outside of Macquarie, Michael has designed and developed modules for other organisations, as well as working on web design projects. He is also currently working on a Universal Design strategy for learning and teaching at Macquarie, which you might start to see around the university in the next few months.
Michael replaces Jorge Reyna, to whom we bid ‘adios’ in March.
