A reminder that the closing date for FOHS Teaching Fellowship Program applications is 5 pm FRIDAY 7 November.
FoHS is offering three competitive Teaching Fellowships and one commissioned Fellowship in 2015 to promote the Faculty’s strategic vision in learning and teaching, with up to two fellowships in each of Session One and Session Two (depending on the scope of the projects).
- The Projects should be designed to address goals that are achievable within a timeframe of 12 months, with the bulk of the development work to be achieved in a specified 6-month period.
- Fellows will receive $10,000 in teaching support which will typically go towards freeing the Fellow from face to face teaching and/or marking during the key 6-month development period.
Applications close at 5 pm on Friday 7 November 2014. >>>Applicants are recommended to consult with their Head of Department, with Mitch Parsell, AD Learning and Teaching and with Fiona Nicolson, Educational Developer from LTC<<<
Between 10-14 Nov 2014 , a Committee of FLTC representatives chaired by Fiona Nicolson (LTC) will meet to evaluate the applications and make recommendations to the Executive Dean.
The successful projects will then become part of the LTC’s Faculty Partnership Program and will be allocated a team of LTC staff to work with the Teaching Fellow for 4-5 months during the development period.
