Happy New Year Teche readers!  If you’re thinking of making the leap from avid Teche peruser to prolific Teche blogger in 2015, well, it’s never been easier…

How to contribute to Teche

Teche welcomes contributions on any topic of interest to Macquarie’s Learning and Teaching community: hot tips or important info, upcoming events or opportunities, reflections on teaching (or learning) at Macquarie or perspectives on what’s happening in the sector.

1. Log in to get started

All Macquarie staff can log-in to Teche with their OneID to contribute a post.   Scroll down to the black area at the bottom of Teche and look for the log-in link.

Not a Macquarie Staff member?  Email us at teche.ltc@mq.edu.au for more information about contributing.

2. Create your post and submit it to a Teche editor

Look for the guides to writing a Teche post and adding images and media, also in the black area at the bottom of Teche. Note: the guides are only visible once you’ve logged in.

Once you’ve written your post, it will go to one of our editorial team in the LTC and the Faculties for editing, publication and inclusion in newsletters.

3. Stuck?  Raise a OneHelp Ticket

The best way to get help with using Teche or alert us to gremlins is to raise a OneHelp ticket (Learning and Teaching Systems > Teche Blog).

4. Writer’s Block?

Get inspired at our next workshop on Blogging for Learning and Teaching, on 10 February 2015:  Details and registration here.  We’ll also walk you through the publishing process.
