You are invited to attend a presentation session that will showcase the ten best entries in the PSY399 Outstanding Placement Competition for 2015 students.
PSY399: Psychological Science: Putting Theory into Practice is the Capstone Unit for psychology, and in it, each student undertakes a volunteer placement, either singly or in groups. What some of our students have achieved on placement is truly inspiring. This competition invites students (or groups of students) to share some of the things they have done on placement in a brief (4-5 minute) presentation.
Come and hear some inspiring stories from these motivated and talented PSY399 students, and then join us for some light refreshments and a chance to meet each other afterwards.
At the presentation session, the ten best entries will be judged by Prof. Simon Handley, Executive Dean of the Faculty of Human Sciences, Prof. Julie Fitness, the Head of the Department of Psychology, and Ms Avril Moss, Department Manager. Four monetary prizes will be awarded, including a people’s choice award.
Please RSVP by December 2, by completing this link: https://mqedu.qualtrics.com/SE/?SID=SV_6iorhnN0g6TEjI1
We hope to see you there!
