A reminder about recent changes to the LTC Tutor Induction Program (TIP)

The following information is a reminder to all staff about the recent LTC changes to the TIP program for all tutors.

From SESSION 1 2015

  • All tutors will be required to complete 6 workshops to be eligible for a certificate of completion and payment from their Department.
  • To be eligible for payment, FoHS Faculty requires that one of these sessions is Grademark training
  • At the end of S1, a list of participants will be sent to all Departments who will arrange payment for casual tutors.
  • Eligible FoHS staff will be paid 3 hours at DEM rate.

From SESSION 2 2015 onwards

  • Tutors will be required to complete 6 workshops to be eligible for a certificate of completion and payment from their Department.
  • The 6 sessions will comprise a face to face introductory session and a face to face capstone at end of semester, with a choice of four online iLearn modules in between
  • To be eligible for payment, FoHS Faculty requires that one of these sessions is Grademark training
  • Individual tutors will be responsible for keeping a record of their own attendance
  • Tutors will submit their participation certificates to their Department Administrator for payment and a Certificate of Completion.
  • Eligible FoHS staff will be paid 3 hours at DEM rate.
