Ever wanted to blog for Teche?

Note: Actual Teche newsroom not pictured.  (There isn’t one).

Blogging and social media are increasingly valued ways of communicating in academia – there’s never been a better time to join the higher education ‘global common room’.   Meanwhile readership of Teche continues to grow (thank you, dear readers!).  If you’re interested in contributing to Teche, or learning more about blogging in general, then this workshop is for you.

Workshop: Blogging for Learning and Teaching

An interactive introduction to the art of blogging for learning and teaching! The workshop will examine key principles of blogging including: stylistic differences in writing, using multimedia content, enabling two-way communication, incorporating other social media, and tips and tricks for increasing readership.  It will also introduce participants to the concept of a blogging as a reflective learning activity for students.

On completion of the workshop, you will be ready and able to contribute to Teche.
