Designing Interactive Lectures with Echo360 Active Learning Platform
July 5 @ 10:30 am - 11:30 am| Free
By simulating a large lecture teaching scenario this session will introduce participants to the new Echo360 Active Learning Platform (ALP) and demonstrate how to use its features to design interactive and engaging lectures. Participants will
- familiarise themselves with ALP and its interactive features
- learn about its impact and effects on student engagement and learning (both staff- and student-perceived)
- experience an interactive live streamed lecture as students
- explore and develop ideas on how they can make use of ALP features in their teaching
Everyone is welcome to attend. We invite all teaching staff; anyone interested in trying new interactive teaching techniques; those already delivering interactive lectures with other tools; and those who want to design for student engagement.
