Driving Innovation: Changes To Learning And Teaching Grants

Apply now for 2018 Learning and Teaching strategic priority grants funding. Following the success of our pilot program earlier this year, applicants are now invited to pitch their ideas directly to the panel for all Learning and Teaching grants funding.

The first round for 2018 funding is now open with a pitch session scheduled on 14 November. All key dates are listed on the website.

Designed to attract high quality Learning and Teaching ideas from across the University, preference will be given to proposals that take a strategic approach to solving challenges in the Learning and Teaching space at Macquarie. All applications are expected to support Macquarie’s Learning and Teaching priority areas:

      • Digital, technology and spaces
      • Student engagement
      • Student employability and collaboration with industry
      • Academic integrity and innovative assessment
      • Program based approaches to curriculum and assessment

New Application Process

Interested in applying? Consult with your Faculty Associate Dean Learning and Teaching and/or business or unit Director to discuss project ideas. All applications require endorsement from your faculty or business unit.

All applicants will firstly ‘pitch’ their project to the Learning and Teaching review panel. Applicants who receive endorsement from the panel will be asked to move to the next stage and submit a full application including a detailed budget and timelines for delivery.

The pitch session is scheduled for 14 November. To assist, a pitch workshop is scheduled for 6 November for applicants – email pvclt@mq.edu.au for more information.
