According to the Faculty of Human Sciences’ Dr Mitch Parsell, one simple 3-step exercise has “produced a substantial reduction in student plagiarism cases across the Faculty.”

Promising a reduction in the risk of plagiarism in 30 minutes, the Oxford Brookes approach centres on “designing out” opportunities for students to fake their learning in assessment tasks.
